Yesterday we celebrated Mike and Jess' wedding at a small outdoor reception in Fairfax. It was at the historic Farr house, a blip of colonial revival in super sleek northern VA. It was a pleasant location with pleasant food and pleasant weather and excellent friends.
We talked and drank and met many of the Gordons, Walkers, and Roths, who were dressed perfectly for the affair. We reminisced about ye olde college days and promises to move back to the Mid-Atlantic were made by all. Michael, Mike and I are still the best of friends, and happily expand to include husband, wife, girlfriend and pets.
